Attractive shrub with flat, white clusters of flowers followed by blue-black edible fruit in fall. Rusty Blackhaw also features checkered bark and serrated leaves that turn rusty red to maroon in autumn. May become treelike in shape with a rounded crown at maturity. Fruit attracts migratory songbirds.
